AkzoNobel’s Sikkens Brand

KIA Motors Europe (KIE) has selected AkzoNobel Car Refinishes' Sikkens brand as a preferred partner to support the establishment of a pan-European and standardized quality repair process for the KIA network.

Phil Coady, Marketing Manager EMEA commented: "We are delighted to have achieved preferred supplier status in the agreement with KIA, it is testament to our high standards and ambitious, ongoing quality improvement targets which sit well with KIA's approach. Heiner Schwan, Key Account Manager at AkzoNobel Car Refinishes EMEA commented: Focus will be placed on bodyshop process improvement and lowering warranty costs by the use of selected warranty paint systems. We will be supplying all bodyshops with handbooks outlining quality standards which will ensure a consistent approach across European markets."
